According to the NLC Notification 2023, the 500 vacancies are distributed as follows:

1. Industrial Trainee [Specialized Mining Equipment (SME) Operations]: 238 vacancies
2. Industrial Trainee (Mines & Mines Support Services): 262 vacancies

NLC India Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:
  • For Industrial Trainee [Specialized Mining Equipment (SME) Operations]: Diploma in Engineering in the respective discipline.
  • For Industrial Trainee (Mines & Mines Support Services): ITI – Fitter or Turner or Electrician or Welding or MMV or Diesel Mechanic or Tractor Mechanic or Civil or Foundry or Cable Jointing Trades with NAC Certification.
• Age Limit (as on 01/06/2023):
  • UR/EWS: Maximum 37 years
  • OBC (NCL): Maximum 40 years
  • SC/ST: Maximum 42 years
