The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results of the Class 12th board exams today. This year, around 16.9 lakh students appeared for the exam, which was conducted from February 15 to April 5, 2023. Out of these, 7.4 lakh are female students, 9.51 lakh are male candidates, and 5 students are registered under the ‘others’ category. The exams were conducted for a total of 115 subjects in 36 days, and the results are now available on the official website of the CBSE.

According to the CBSE, the overall pass percentage for the Class 12th board exams this year is 98.34%. This is a slight increase from last year’s pass percentage of 98.23%. The pass percentage for female students is 99.13%, while the pass percentage for male candidates is 97.96%. The pass percentage for students under the ‘others’ category is 80%.

The CBSE has also released the list of toppers for the Class 12th board exams this year. The top three positions have been secured by students from different parts of the country. The first position has been secured by Riya Singh from Lucknow, who scored 99.99%. The second position has been secured by Rohan Gupta from Mumbai, who scored 99.98%. The third position has been secured by Anjali Sharma from Delhi, who scored 99.97%.
